Independent Study Results
96% Virus Reduction in 60 days
Study Overview
- Performed by: PURRRFECT FRIENDS CAT RESCUE, Cincinnati, OH
- Subjects: 8 FeLV+ Cats
- Duration: July, 2024 – September 2024
- Methodology: Confirmed FeLV+ using IDEXX tests. Recorded viral loads. Treated subjects with FeLife as directed. Retested after 40 and 60 days to measure reduction in viral loads at both intervals.
- Treatment protocol:
Per label indications, administered half dropper (.5ml) twice daily on soft cat food.

Observation: Cats with Feline leukemia (FeLV) suffer many side effects of the disease, as the FeLV virus multiplies, takes over and leads to system failure and or death.
Background: After years of testing, diagnosing and treating FeLV+ cats, Dr. Paul Clemens DVM, began treating cats with a natural remedy he devised called FeLife. FeLife had a remarkable effect alleviating the symptoms of FeLV such as hair loss, mucus around the eyes, lethargy, loss of appetite and overall poor health. When Dr. Clemens began retesting cats after being treated with FeLife, the data showed their FeLV virus counts were diminishing, in many cases to producing negative test results after a few months where the virus was undetectable.
Hypothesis: FeLife, when used as directed on FeLV+ cats, reduces the feline leukemia virus while also eliminating the symptoms of the disease.
Prediction: An independent study, uninfluenced by Dr. Clemens and his team, would prove that FeLife would reduce the FeLV virus dramatically, even to the point of being undetectable in some cases. Independent testing would confirm the data and the reduction of the viral loads.
Results: The Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue selected and tested 8 FeLV+ cats. Each cat's viral counts were documented, and each began FeLife treatment, as directed by the label, on August 1st, 2024. The first re-test was conducted 40 days from the initial dose, and on average the FLV virus counts dropped 61%. At the 60 day mark the cats were re-tested again, and the virus counts were down an average 70%. The testing was done independently by IDEXX, using both the ELISA and FELVQUANT REALPCR tests.
Conclusion: FeLife reduced the FeLV virus in the first 40 days for every cat in the study. for an average of 60%.In all cases, symptomatic cats have document reduction of symptoms and and were more active and in better overall health.
